Mrs Oluwagbemiro Olajumoke Oluwakem

Over two decades of investment banking experience spanning financial advisory, structured finance, corporate finance, asset securitisation, equity and debt.

Mrs Oluwagbemiro Olajumoke Oluwakem has over two decades of experience in investment banking, spanning financial advisory, structured finance, corporate finance, asset securitisation, equity and debt, among other disciplines. She is also a compliance professional.

Over the years, she has led and participated in several notable deal structurings. These include the structuring and packaging of a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in Nigeria for a real estate firm, and the packaging of a specialised fund for a mortgage bank. She packaged the first merger in the Nigerian pension industry, between First Alliance Pensions & Benefits Ltd and ARM Pensions Ltd, which formed ARM Pension Managers. She also packaged the merger of three capital market firms now known as Planet Capital. More recently, she was involved in the packaging and noting of the Wemabod Financing SPV Limited ₦3 billion Corporate Bond on the FMDQ.

Her transaction experience also includes share capital reconstruction, various capital market public and private offerings, and the listing of companies on the NGX and FMDQ, among other landmark private-sector transactions.

Olajumoke is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB). She holds an MBA (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, and an HND in Banking and Finance (Upper Credit) from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State.

She is a registered Sponsored Individual (Compliance) of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria, and a member of the Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Capital Market Operators in Nigeria (CCCOCIN). She has attended several training programmes on the capital market, anti-money laundering (AML) and risk management, organised by the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria, the Nigerian Capital Market Institute (NCMI) Abuja, the Cyber Security Academy and others.

To strengthen her business acumen, Olajumoke has also earned a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Rome Business School, Nigeria, and a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Valencian International University, Rome, both completed in May 2026.
