Real assets. Public accountability. A market we know closely.
Haldane McCall Plc has been building and operating in Lagos since 2012 — developing residential property through Suru Homes and running hotels through Suru Express. On 20 November 2024, we listed on the Nigerian Exchange, opening that track record to public capital, public reporting and public scrutiny.
Why invest with Haldane McCall Plc
The investment case
Six reasons, stated plainly. Each one rests on something the Company has already done, or on something it has committed to publicly — not on projection alone.
Strategic growth
Our growth plan is defined and costed: deepen our presence across the Lagos metropolis, extend into new West African markets, and fund expansion through public capital and reinvested operating cash. Progress is measured against delivery, not ambition.
Diversified by design
Real estate development and hospitality peak at different points in the economic cycle. Held together, they give the Group two revenue engines — development gains and recurring operational income — and reduce dependence on any single market. See Suru Homes and Suru Express Hotels.
Return potential
We are building for growth in shareholder value year on year, supported by prime Lagos land held for future development, a customer-satisfaction target of 90%, and an operating model designed to convert occupancy and sales into recurring income.
Proven delivery since 2012
Residential developments delivered across Ikeja GRA, Surulere, Ikoyi, Ebute Metta, Ikorodu and Ketu; three Suru Express hotels operating today. The record is documented, dated and open to inspection — read our history.
Dividend policy
We intend to maintain a tangible dividend payout to shareholders. Any distribution remains subject to the Board's recommendation and to earnings, cash flow, capital requirements and our regulatory obligations as a listed company.
Governance & transparency
As a listed company, we report to the Nigerian Exchange and to our shareholders. Board oversight, internal control, external audit and NDPR-compliant data handling are not optional extras — they are the conditions of our listing. Read how we are governed.
A defined pipeline, funded by public capital.
Capital raised through our listing is directed at two clearly stated programmes: expanding the Suru Express hotel network, and delivering low-cost housing in support of the Federal Government's affordable-housing agenda.
Our approach
How we operate
We create value by building effective systems and unlocking potential.
That means conducting our business with integrity and investing properly in the relationships that make delivery possible — with our staff, our partners and our shareholders. Systems are what turn a good project into a repeatable one, and repeatability is what an investor is ultimately buying. You can read more about our culture.
- Integrity in every transaction, from land acquisition to guest check-in
- Systems that make performance measurable, comparable and repeatable
- Long-term relationships with staff, partners and the communities we build in
- Responsible operations — environmental, social and governance factors considered at each stage
- Reporting on a listed-company timetable, to the NGX and to shareholders
