Biography

Career in the Nigerian capital market

One of Nigeria's most senior stockbroking practitioners — and a former President of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

Mr. Adekoje currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Professional Stockbrokers Ltd., a Lagos-based securities brokerage firm, and as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Haldane McCall Plc. His career spans over two decades across management, finance, sales and marketing — building and leading integrated marketing operations for high-profile companies both in Nigeria and internationally.

He previously served as a Director of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria — the federal agency responsible for setting and enforcing financial reporting standards across the Nigerian economy. Within the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, he rose through the governing council as Second Vice President, then First Vice President, before being elected President in 2018.

At Haldane McCall Plc, he sits on the Board as one of its Independent Non-Executive Directors — providing fully independent oversight, free of executive involvement, and a structural safeguard for shareholders.
