Sir Adewole Farinu began his career in operations, quickly proving his leadership abilities by guiding diverse professional teams to success across highly competitive and fast-paced industries. This early success accelerated his rise into management. With over 30 years of experience, he is a seasoned businessman with deep expertise in strategic planning, business development, project management, and systems engineering. Known for his skill in identifying business requirements and opportunities, he has consistently developed innovative, cost-effective strategies to enhance competitiveness, drive revenue growth, and elevate customer satisfaction.
In 1998, he founded Wolban Enterprises Limited, realising his entrepreneurial vision with a service company of strong repute. Over the years, Wolban has expanded, serving high-profile clients and building a notable portfolio. In 2007, Wolban Travels, a prominent travel service company, was added to the brand. Sir Farinu is the CEO of Wolban Enterprises, Director at Wolban Travels, and Managing Director of Wolban Properties.
Sir Farinu is an active member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria, Ikeja Golf Club, Ikeja Country Club, and Rotary International. A sports enthusiast, he played football at university and enjoys reading and travel.
In May 2019, he was honoured with the Knight of John Wesley (KJW), the Methodist Church’s highest civilian recognition. Raised in the Methodist Apaara Church in Oyo, his family church, he is happily married to Lady Adetunji Farinu, a travel consultant and CEO of Wolban Travels, and they are blessed with two children.
